Here are more images like we promised ;) Janelle and Brian's wedding was really nice despite the cold. Janelle was a super trooper, not complaining about the cold even once! They were fully prepared with hand and toe warmers to ward off the cold. Smart!! ;) Janelle's dress looked like it was made for her, I absolutely loved it, and Brian did too! They both enjoyed the day cozy and close with family members, with a luncheon at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and a reception at the beautiful Eldredge Manor in Bountiful. Congratulations you two, it's been a blast working with you!

Bride Courtney and Groom Pete were so super excited to be married! You could so tell, they were on cloud 9, smiling all day long! It doesn't seem like it was that long ago that were shooting their engagements!

They had their reception up at the U of U, the night before the big rivally game. The wedding colors were blue, white and gold, I think they were showing their true colors for BYU, but I could be wrong! ;) I made sure to not wear anything that might be termed favoritism ;) Well, congrats Courtney and Pete, we've enjoyed getting to know you these last couple months!

For the sake of proper exposure

My buddies Jonathan Canlas and Duston Todd has recommended a wonderful light meter, a Sekonic L-358 which I highly recommend to all those photographers that visit our blog. Why a light meter? Because our clients should have the best images possible and that’s exactly why a light meter comes so handy.

You can proper expose and set up the shot way before your subject arrives.

Give it a try, I highly recommend getting one…maybe for Christmas or something.

Soon to be Bride Stephanie was able to make it down from Washington for her bridal session, oh and Thanksgiving of course! Her beautiful bridal session was done at the Tahitian Noni Gardens. Soon to be groom Eric was only happy to oblige to be in couple pictures to be closer to her! It was hard to get him to take his eyes off of her! Congrats you two! Can't wait for the spring wedding!

Erin and David had a beautiful seasonal wedding at Manti Temple. We were all just glad that the weather was atypical for the season! We were ready snow, but we were so thankful that it didn't. They were all smiles and Erin didn't complain about how chilly it was, just glad it was not a blizzard!

They enjoyed a huge reception at the Springville Museum of Art, which was such a gorgeous location. It was wise they chose such a big venue since they probably wouldn't have been able to fit everyone any place else. Also it was convenient for guest to wander around and look at the art work while chatting with friends and family. Congrats you two! It was fun getting to know Erin at her bridal session, thank you for letting us share in your special day!

We were able to sneak in a Family photo session with the Smith families before the weather gets more chilly. We were super lucky that last weekend was a good calm before the storm hit. They both had such adorable little kids, I'm pretty sure I got more exercise keeping them smiling and laughing than I have in the whole month! ;) I think that cute little Lauren will be a photographer when she grows up, she loved the cameras and kept eyeing our camera bag of lenses! ;) Thanks so much for the fun time and the awesome steaks! You may remember Andra and Jordan from their Bridal and Groomal session a couple posts back, well then I did say how lucky they were that it didn't pour on us, but seriously they must have the best luck in the world! Their wedding day was such a gorgeous day! They had plenty of family and friends to enjoy the day with. ;) I thinks it's the first time that we've almost not been able to fit the whole wedding party on the Salt Lake Temple stairs! Bride Andra looked gorgeous in her gown and Groom Jordan looked debonair in his white chocolate suit. They were all smiles all day. Congrats you two, we've had such fun getting to know you!

Corey and Camilla had such a beautiful wedding at the Magnolia Grove in South Jordan. Bride Camilla looked so gorgeous in her wedding gown, she was so worried that she wouldn't make it down the stairs. I couldn't see why though, she strut her stuff on the dance floor after the ceremony in her cute pink stelletoes! Her shoes weren't the only thing pink, she had the beautiful boquet of pink roses and lilies. Even the groom liked them! ;) Well the lucky two newly wedding enjoyed the night with family and friends before heading off to Hawaii! (I'm way jealous!!!) Congratualtions and thank you for letting us join in your day.

The weather up at the Salt Lake Temple was frigid to say the least, but the frozen fingers and toes of bride Katherine and groom John didn't dampen their spirits. The whole wedding party was full of smiles for the happy newlyweds! Katherine's aunt made such a nice jacket for Katherine so she wouldn't freeze her arms. They enjoy a lucheon with close family and friends at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building before heading off to one of their three receptions! Well congrats to the couple, thanks a bunch for let us enjoy your day!

Soon to be bride Andra and groom Jordan don’t believe in bad luck at all! Like the myth it's bad luck to see the Bride before the wedding day. They must be really lucky, we were all lucky that the rain didn’t down pour during the shoot, it held off till the next day! Jordan was relaxed and Andra was super sassy for the camera. There’s a beautiful little park up the canyon that we found one day (thanks to the iPhone) and we just had to do a photo session up there while the weather is still so nice. It was so secluded, except for the occasional bikers who would whistle at beautiful bride Catherine while biking up the canyon. Luckily Catherine doesn’t believe in bad luck in the groom seeing her in the dress before the wedding, because on the way to the bridal session he totally saw her getting into the car in her wedding gown! Well he’ll be a lucky guy! ;) Congrats Catherine you looked gorgeous!

It was such a beautiful fall day up the Provo Canyon at the Sundance Resort. All the leaves have started to turn gorgeous colors and the weather was absolutely perfect, the couple wasn't bad either! ;) Courtney and Peter were all smiles for their engagement session, but I’m not so sure it was to do with the weather! ;) I LOVE the picture where the sky was the exact same color of Courtney’s dress. They were both so cute together we can’t wait for the wedding. Congrats to you two on your engagement!

During the BBQ for Labor Day, the girls (our cute neices) tried out their Halloween costumes. This is the only shot I was able to get of Sophie before she started screaming for missing her nap. That's the great thing about neices you can be with them when they're are being cute and adorable, but they go back to mommy or daddy when they get grumpy! ;)

Back to the beautiful Rexburg Temple, this time though to photograph a wedding of a friend! We were happy that Matt married Melissa at a time where there’s no snow on the grounds, and for Rexburg (or Iceberg) there’s only a small window of time where’s there not! Crazy to think how time flies and that they doubled with us on one of our first dates a couple years ago! They both enjoyed the day with family, friends, laughter, lots of friendly teasing, chocolate, and CHOCOLATE!
I think that Matt loves chocolate almost as much as he loves his new bride, not quite, but almost! ;) I think I gained 10 lbs just looking at their luncheon cake! Thanks so much for having us as your photographers and sharing in your day! Congrats and good chocolate!

It was such a beautiful day for a wedding, it made me wish we got married in the summer instead of the dead of winter! ;) The grounds around the Bountiful temple were lovely as ever (my favorite) but so was the wedding couple! Bride Mogan looked stunning in her gold and cream wedding gown and Groom Wade well, he wore his Airforce uniform and looked very debonair. The pair had classic sunglasses to top it off! ;) So after some relaxed family portraits and very essential pictures of bride & groom, we headed off to the wedding reception at the Ivy Lane reception center in Ogden Utah. At the reception they enjoyed a night of fun, laughter, cake and dancing! Then the happy couple jetted into the night! Okay, okay they drove, but it would have been super cool if they could have flown! ;) Congrats you too!

The pictures are wonderful! It was a perfect day having all my children in the temple with grandchildren and the people that mean the most to me there to celebrate and rejoice with our family. Thank you for capturing that experience! Again, we all love the pics. on the blog spot and are looking forward to seeing the rest of them. You two are the smartest thing I did in planning this wedding.....it is what we can keep!

Wedding Photography at Oakland California Temple

Surprisingly we were full of energy for the wedding despite it being our 3rd weddings in a row and flight arriving to California at 3 am! The energy around wedding couple, AnnElise & Chris permeated to everyone! ;) AnnElise has such a beautiful custom wedding dress and Chris looked quite dashing in his tan tux. ;) The Oakland Temple really is a gorgeous temple! So after some wedding family portraits and some portraits of the happy wedding couple we head off to the luncheon at the HS Lordship's Restaurant where they enjoyed the closeness of family and friends and also some friendly banter from their siblings. Both AnnElise's brothers and Chris's family had everyone laughing hard enough to bring tears to our eyes! Their wedding reception was in the beautiful backyard and despite it being big they almost didn't have room for everyone who came to wish the newlyweds good luck! Both Chris and AnnElise are super nice and clean, so I didn't even hope for a good cake smashing, blue frosting and a white wedding dress just don't mix. [I however send out a dare to the any future couple we do to have a cake fight, only if you want to ;)] And while Chris & AnnElise stayed perfectly clean their get-away vehicle definitely didn't. I think all their nieces and nephews worked their best efforts on it! ;) Well Congratulations you two! We loved doing you engagements session and were thrilled to be there for your wedding day!

Wedding Photography at Manti Temple in Utah

I have decided that so many couples choose to have their weddings at Manti temple in Utah since it's such a gorgeous looking temple that also looks somewhat like a castle. That's where Whitney has wanted to get married since she was 11 yrs old and now she is finally getting married there. Richard & Whitney were such a cute wedding couple! They kept saying they couldn't believe they were finally married, the engagement and wedding day always seem to go super fast! They had such cute nephews who were all competing for the camera to take photos. After taken a couple single portraits of the cute wedding couple we left Manti and headed up to the Provo City Library for their wedding reception. They were both rather polite during the cake cutting, I must say it's been a while since I've seen a good cake smashing! ;) They even borrowed a very sweet Mustang for their quick get away. Congrats you two!

Wedding Photography at Thanksgiving Point

We had so much fun shooting photography for the gorgeous wedding couple Sara & Clint at the beautiful Thanksgiving Point in Lehi Utah. It was pretty hot during the wedding I'm surprise the wedding cake frosting didn't just melt off! Well despite the heat the wedding party was in good spirits hanging out under the gazebo. The blushing bride, Sara was so easy on the eyes (and lens!) she looked good at any angle! Clint was super relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera as well looking quite debonair. I loved their cute cake topper of the angel & devil, Clint was so well behaved I can't believe that he would have a devilish side ;) He was so careful during the cake cutting. Well congratulations Clint you finally have your angel and Sara good luck with your devil! Congrats!

More Utah Wedding Photos at Mount Timpanogos

We've photographed a ton of wedding this year at the Mount Timpanogos Temple in American Fork Utah. Which isn't such a surprise since it's such a beautiful Temple. Erin & Matt made a good choice, and they were definitely jumping for joy! They had their wedding in the afternoon, since they had their luncheon the day before, it worked out so great! They were both calm and relaxed and there weren't any crowds there like there are in the morning. I really like the deep brown colors they pick out it work very well with Matt's awesome tux and the wrap for Erin’s dress. Matt really knew how to work it, even with the flowers! I loved Erin's bouquet! She's so crafty she made it herself, my mom would be way jealous Daisies are her favorite. We've had such fun photographing them; it's gone by super fast. We were pretty much the first one's to know they were engaged! We did the photography for their friends Emily and Alan a couple months ago and they found out that they were engaged from our blog! Well congrats you two!

Family Photos in Utah

Fun times with this wonderful family. The mom was so glad to book us since they had just a one day window to do the session and we were lucky enough that we got to meet and shoot their family before we headed out of town as well. They had such adorable kids and grandkids, super well behaved! I don't know if the parents or the kids liked my antics better at keeping the kids attention! The kids dug my way goofy glasses and sported them like true models! Super fun family totally easy to photograph! We hope all the moving went well and hope to see you & hopefully photograph you again maybe at a wedding or two! ;)
